Wilhelm Textiles India is actively comitted in the fight against Covid-19-pandemy and not only for their own employees. In addition to strict hygiene measures and testing facilities Wilhelm India has launched the first vaccine camp day on April 9th, 2021 in their plant in Gurgaon. The vaccine camp was even opened to companies in Wilhelm’s neighbourhood. Unfortunately the second vaccine event had to be postponed due to the Lockdown on May 3rd, 2021. After the Lockdown Wilhelm India will make sure to find a new date soonest possible.

On 29.11.2018, the Council of Leather Exports (CLE) has once again awarded Wilhelm Textiles India with the CLE Export Award for excellent export performance in 2017/2018. The Award was presented by his Excellency, the honorable Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry and Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India to Mr. Erik Illig.

Functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Council of Leather Exports is the apex body of the 3500 members rapidly growing Indian leather Industry.

The Council every year presents Export Awards to the companies with best export performance in each group.

After being in the Top 100 for the last 3 years, Wilhelm Textil is extremely happy that on 28.10.2018 Wilhelm Textiles India Private Limited has been selected as the Award Winner in the SME segment as best Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in the Textiles & Garments sector. The award was presented by Ms. Sunita Sanghi, Additional Sectary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. From 16th to 18th November 2017 the “Leathertech” has been held at the „Bashundhara Convention Center“ in Dhaka, Bangladesch.
Also this year, Wilhelm Textiles India was present with its own exhibition booth.

Wilhelm Textiles India donates warm blankets for those in need.

Winter brings low temperatures down to freezing point even in Delhi. Wilhelm Textiles India is therefore committed to helping those in need in Delhi and has donated warm blankets to homeless children and the sick. Wilhelm Textiles initiated the charity campaign together with the organisation “Feeling India”. More than 75 blankets were handed over to the aid organisation “Compasionate Missionaries” in Delhi. The blankets were made of especially warm lining in high quality and offer 25 homeless children and 50 homeless sick people protection from cold temperatures. Erik Illig, Managing Director of Wilhelm Textiles India, was pleased about the successful charity action: “Seeing all these happy faces is a fantastic feeling.”
